821. India’s textile exports to 111 countries record 10% growth during Apr-Sept: Govt
- On November 12, 2025 textile minister said Between April and September 2025, India’s textile exports to 111 countries grew 10% to $8,489.08 million from $7,718.55 million, an increase of $770.3 million.
- Major growth markets included the UAE (14.5%), Japan (19%), Spain (9%), France (9.2%), and Egypt (27%), driven by Ready-Made Garments and Jute sectors.
- The Textile Ministry credited this performance to export diversification under “Make in India” and “Aatmanirbhar Bharat,” showcasing the industry’s adaptability and competitiveness amid global headwinds.

822. Godrej delivers first human-rate L110 stage Vikas engine to ISRO
- On November 13, 2025 Godrej Aerospace delivered the first human-rated L110 stage Vikas engine to ISRO’s Gaganyaan project, which will conduct its first uncrewed test flight early next year.
- Developed in collaboration with ISRO and LPSC, the engine represents Godrej’s decades-long role in India’s space missions, including Chandrayaan and NISAR, showcasing its precision and reliability.

823. NCRTC launches ‘Solar on Track’ at Duhai depot, a first in metro systems
- On November 12, 2025 the NCRTC inaugurated the ‘Solar on Track’ project at the Namo Bharat Depot, Duhai, Ghaziabad India’s first solar installation on a Rapid Rail or metro track, spanning 70 metres with a 15.4 kWp capacity.
- The initiative, developed by NCRTC officials, uses 28 high-capacity 550 Wp solar panels to generate about 17,500 kWh annually, reducing nearly 16 tonnes of CO₂ emissions through efficient infrastructure use.
- The project supports NCRTC’s goal of meeting 70% of energy needs from renewables, adds to its 5.5 MW existing solar capacity, and complements green efforts like rainwater harvesting, sewage treatment, and regenerative braking.
824. Tripura CM Dr Manik Saha Inaugurates 48 New Quarters and 10 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs in Dhalai District
- Tripura Chief Minister On November 13, 2025, virtually inaugurated 48 new residential quarters and 10 newly constructed Ayushman Arogya Mandirs at Dhalai District Hospital, marking a significant boost to the region’s healthcare infrastructure.
- The 10 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs have been strategically established under two administrative zones. Under the Ambassa Primary Health Centre, the facilities are located at Lalchhari, Balaram, Kamalachhara, Shikaribari, and Ghantachhara.
- The 10 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs are distributed under Ambassa and Kamalpur zones, providing free diagnostics, treatment, and strengthened primary healthcare facilities for the rural population.

825. India's smartphone exports hit record $2.4 billion in October; First seven months total $16 billion
- On November 12, 2025 It was reported that, In October 2025, India recorded smartphone exports worth $2.4 billion-the highest for the month-bringing total exports for April–October 2025-26 to $16 billion, up from $10.6 billion last year.
- About 75% of exports came from Apple vendors Foxconn and Tata Electronics, 14% from Samsung, and 11% from others. The growth reflects strong manufacturing momentum and effective supply chain shifts under the PLI scheme.
- ICEA warned that reduced US tariffs on Chinese imports and India’s 12–14% cost disadvantage could hurt competitiveness once the PLI incentives end in 2026, urging continued policy support to sustain export growth.

826. ISRO completes key test on main parachutes for Gaganyaan Crew Module
- The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) said on November 11, 2025, it had successfully tested the main parachutes for its Gaganyaan Crew Module at the Babina Field Firing Range in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, on November 3, 2025.
- Using an Indian Air Force IL-76 aircraft, ISRO dropped a module from 2.5 km altitude, validating the parachute system’s performance under extreme asymmetric disreefing conditions to ensure safe descent and landing.
- The system has ten parachutes of four types and built-in redundancy—only two of three main parachutes are needed for safe landing. The test confirmed structural integrity and successful sequence execution for the mission.

827. India's renewable energy sector hits record 25GW capacity addition in H1 FY26
- On November 12, 2025, according to data from the Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Between April and September 2025, India added 24.8 GW of renewable energy capacity -the highest ever in six months - with solar power contributing about 21.7 GW and wind energy 3.09 GW.
- According to MNRE data and JMK Research CEO Jyoti Gulia, corporate demand, tender-driven projects, and hybrid models have fueled this growth in both solar and wind segments.
- India’s solar capacity has grown from 3 GW in 2014 to 127 GW, while wind energy has reached 53 GW. The wind sector’s recovery is supported by new tender mechanisms like FDRE and energy storage systems.
828. India extends ₹4,000 crore line of credit to Bhutan for hydropower projects
- During PM of India's two-day visit to Bhutan, On November 12, 2025, India and Bhutan jointly inaugurated the 1,020 MW Punatsangchhu-II hydroelectric project, a major milestone in their energy partnership.
- Prime Minister of India and King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck led the ceremony, with India announcing a ₹4,000 crore concessional credit line and signing three MoUs on renewable energy, healthcare, and mental health.
- India will link Bhutan’s Gelephu and Samtse to its rail network and open an immigration checkpoint near Gelephu. Bhutan’s hydropower capacity will rise by 40%, supported by India’s ₹10,000 crore aid for its Five-Year Plan.

829. Centre approves 1,000 e-buses for Pune under PM E-DRIVE scheme to boost green public transport
- On November 11, 2025, the Centre approved purchasing 1,000 electric buses for Pune under the PM E-DRIVE scheme to expand and modernize the city’s public transport network.
- Union Minister announced the approval after pursuing it with Chief Minister of Maharashtra and Union Minister , who expedited clearance following meetings in New Delhi.
- The PMPML, which operates 2,000 buses across Pune and nearby areas, needs 3,000 to meet demand. The decision complements Pune Metro’s 32 km network and ongoing expansion projects.
830. Atmanirbhar Navy in the Making: Hyundai and Cochin Shipyard Signs MoU for the 1470 Dollar Landing Platform Dock Project
- On November 11, 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) and South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) to jointly participate in India’s ₹1.3 lakh crore Landing Platform Dock (LPD) naval programme.
- The CSL–HHI partnership combines HHI’s advanced naval design expertise with CSL’s domestic infrastructure under India’s “Make in India” drive, aiming to build large amphibious warships for the Indian Navy.
- The LPDs, each around 29,000 tonnes, will enhance India’s amphibious and disaster-relief operations, strengthen indigenous shipbuilding, and mark a major step in India’s naval modernisation and Indo-Pacific maritime strategy.
